Learn While You Earn Career Building Program
Westminster Tool is seeking a self-motivated individual for an opportunity to find fulfilling work in the always evolving advanced manufacturing industry. Every year there is new and exciting technology making its way into manufacturing shops! With this new technology, we need highly skilled individuals to learn the new topics and trends that are continuously popping up in this exciting industry. We will be selecting one individual to participate in Westminster’s Learn While You Earn Career Building program for the upcoming semester. This career opportunity provides the individual with a part-time job while attending Quinebaug Valley Community College’s Advanced Manufacturing Program for two semesters. While attending QVCC the individual will utilize their education in our production environment, as well as participate in our mentoring program. Upon completion of the certificate program with an average GPA of 3.0 or higher, the recipient will receive full tuition reimbursement for his/her classes, along with the potential opportunity for full-time employment at Westminster Tool.
