We are thrilled to announce that Westminster Tool, a renowned leader in precision tooling for injection molding across medical, aerospace, and other technically demanding sectors, has been selected as an inductee into the American Manufacturing Hall of Fame for 2025.

In addition to transforming what a manufacturing culture and environment can look like, Westminster Tool has long supported and led regional efforts to inspire and grow the next generation of manufacturers.
Established in 2014, the American Manufacturing Hall of Fame (AMHoF) celebrates the innovators and manufacturers who advance the American industry and nurture the next generation of makers. AMHoF hosts an annual induction ceremony, education outreach programs, and other initiatives aimed at honoring manufacturing excellence and inspiring future talent.
Manufacturing innovators, STEM educators, and Connecticut-based industry leaders gathered earlier this month for the Connecticut Manufacturing Innovation Forum where inductees were announced. The event set the stage for one key topic: Manufacturing Innovation. Throughout the day attendees joined a series of presentations and panel discussions on ways to bring the manufacturing industry forward, in both business practices and workforce development. The forum saved the induction ceremony as the last celebration for the day.
During the induction ceremony, Westminster Tool officially joined the ranks of some of the most well-known and celebrated manufacturers in the state including Sikorsky, Stanley Black & Decker, and Pratt and Whitney to name a few, in addition to Ward Leonard and Trumpf as 2025 inductees.
“We are not in manufacturing, we’re in the opportunity business,” president and owner of Westminster Tool, Ray Coombs told the crowd. “We provide career opportunities to help people improve their quality of life. This is what Westminster Tool does, what Westminster Tool believes in, and this is why people want to work at Westminster Tool.”
Being named an AMHoF inductee is an incredible milestone for Westminster Tool—joining a prestigious roster of companies that represent decades of manufacturing excellence. This recognition underscores Westminster Tool’s impact and leadership in advanced manufacturing—particularly for its technical excellence, culture of innovation, and meaningful workforce development.
