In our journey towards a greener future, recycling plays a pivotal role. Recycling isn’t just a buzzword for us; it’s a cornerstone of our operations. From production processes to packaging, we prioritize recyclability at every step, including scrap metal and plastic. Our research and development in our Technology Center is always exploring new sustainable and recyclable materials, like our case study involving Castor Bean-derived resin. We also take every opportunity to regrind and recycle plastic we use to test our injection molds.
But our commitment doesn’t stop there. We’re constantly innovating to develop eco-friendly alternatives and reduce our carbon footprint. That’s why several years ago we made the commitment to go entirely paperless with all manufacturing operations. We took blueprints, metrics, and other design resources completely online, significantly reducing our paper usage across the entire facility. Every year on Earth Day you can find our team after hours alongside our neighbors doing a community clean-up helping to clean up trash and debris right here in our industry park. Employees, families and other business in the area come together to keep our neighborhood clean.
