Education is the foundation of our culture here at Westminster Tool, and this summer was jam-packed with learning thanks to the hard work of our interns! Westminster Tool interns may join the team with a specialty in mind, but leave here with exposure to almost every area of the business. We’re so sad to see them go! Let’s meet the young talent that joined us this year.

My learning style is very hands on and kinesthetic. I love learning about things by physically experimenting.

The biggest reason I decided to apply to Westminster Tool because of how much they invest in their employees, and their unique approach to business. This is especially true with what they call the WT House, the symbol for their company culture.

One of the coolest things I learned this summer was how plastic injection molding works and how the molds are built. I had not idea how much goes into making even a simple plastic part.
6. What was your favorite part of your internship experience?
My favorite part of my internship experience was the people, being able to learn something from every person I met. No matter what my question was there was always someone willing to help me find an answer.
7. Tell us a little more about your dream job or where you see yourself headed in your professional career?
I still haven’t quite figured out where I want to go in life but I hope to continue studying mechanical engineering at UCONN and I certainly wouldn’t mind working at Westminster Tool again in the future.
