At Westminster Tool, continuous learning and continuous improvement are two components of our culture that all our employees embrace and demonstrate every day. Our company is full of innovators and solution providers working to support their internal and external customers. Moldmaking Technology’s 2021 30 Under 30 and their 30 Under 30 bonus edition recognized three of our employees for their impact on the mold making industry and their leadership within the company.
Westminster Tool’s vice president Hillary Thomas was recognized in the 2021 30 under 30 for her work towards spreading manufacturing awareness in the community and leading the company towards improving as a solutions-focused manufacturer. She is dynamic in her sales role to be a better resource to her customers and open the company to more investment opportunities. In addition to Hillary Thomas, we had two other employees recognized in the 30 Under 30 Bonus article where Moldmaking Technology recognized additional individuals making an impact on the manufacturing community that were not included in their 30 Under 30 article. Both account manager Micheal Belmont and EDM specialist Victoria Rooke were recognized for their contributions toward company innovation and leadership within Westminster Tool.
Micheal Belmont has been with Westminster Tool since 2015. Since then, he has become the lead for sales quoting, preparing on average 40 quotes each month. He has also worked to develop and implement quoting and processing improvements that have helped reduce potential project delays and mitigate potential risks. His focus on developing and strengthening customer relationships has impacted how our company builds, maintains, and grows customer relationships.
Victoria Rooke joined Westminster Tool in 2016. Her passion for manufacturing and experience in EDM has made her an asset not only in training others but also in advocating for manufacturing in the community and inspiring other young women interested in pursuing STEM careers. Beyond her position as EDM specialist, she is also the team leader for our CNC line working proactively to drive improvements within the team and is a key member of our safety team.
