Q1: What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
Shopping, going to the movies, going to conventions, playing with my pets (dog Yuki and cat Ryo), cooking, exploring the arts and Japanese pop culture…aka anime.
Q2: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Becoming an independent woman after leaving “the nest.”
Q3: Who inspires you?
The women in my family are all strong, but my grandma stands out the most. After leaving Japan and coming to a different country, she has gone through the struggles of adjusting to a new place completely by herself.
Q4: What is the best advice you ever received? What is the worst advice you ever received?
Best: “Always be happy at what you do with your work, even if the pay is little.”
Worst: “Keep your head down and always listen to others.”
Q5: What is something you enjoy about working at Westminster Tool?
The friendly atmosphere. Everyone here is nice and helps each other out, and no one is looked down upon.
