Markets

Westminster Tool has served a broad spectrum of markets over the past 12 years but has focused on three primary ones; Aerospace/Defense, Medical Device & Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Packaging.

Aerospace/Defense
Westminster Tool has been a supplier to the aerospace/defense industry for over 12 years. Most of this activity was supplying precision injection mold solutions and finished part machining (both plastic and steel). Exposure to this industry made us realize that our experience and expertise could be applied in other areas.

By any measure, the market for high performance advanced composites in the Aerospace/Defense industry is growing at an unprecedented rate. Most of this growth is driven by the use of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) structures. Westminster has quickly gained a reputation as a leader in providing tooling and mold solutions for these advanced materials to some of the leading OEMs within the Aerospace/Defense industry. Our AS9100 quality status demonstrates our commitment to this exciting and growing industry.
Medical Device & Pharmaceutical
Westminster Tool provides medical device manufacturers with full-service advanced product development delivered in a compressed timeframe. With superior design, tooling, and mold qualification capabilities, Westminster turns product visions into reality and gets your product into production first.

We have been serving the medical industry for more than 12 years, specializing in handling complex, multi-part programs for a variety of customers.
Consumer Packaging
The sector of this industry that represents Westminster’s largest portion is the Cap & Closure market. These solutions are typically high volume, high cavitation injection molds (SPI Class 101 molds) featuring a variety of automated assemblies. Staffed with industry veterans, some with over 35 years experience in both design and manufacturing, this sector has grown since the company’s inception and remains one of its core competencies.

Recognizing the industry need to bridge the gap between development and production, in 2009, Westminster Tool opened it's Technology Center providing injection mold and work cell qualification services.
